We’ve updated our sidebar to include quick links to current marine weather and tide predictions.
The marine forcast and current conditions links point to Weatherunderground.com our prefered online weather provider.
Radar is linked to NOAA’s national radar pages and will center on the Eglin Air Force Base radar station.
Tide predictions are drawn from the official NOAA Tide Prediction charts for 2006. You can find charts for other US locations at this LINK. Tide predictions can vary greatly depending on local conditions and weather - so use at your own risk.
The online tide chart is a service of Dean Pentchiff and the University of Southern California using a web port of Dave Flater’s XTide software for UNIX/LINUX. A similar Windows compatible tide predictor is the free WXTide32 which we’ve used for the last few years.
