Wouldn’t mind catching one of these ourselves this year. This large hammerhead weighed in at 750 lbs. Suprising that this shark is significantly heavier than the previous record - which dates back to 1976.

This is an amazing story. If anyone has any details, please let us know by going to http://www.marinernetwork.stream-cast.us . We want to submit a fishing report for this story (and hopefully for future reports from Florida) to let more people know of the accomplishment. This is a great site with Windows Media Streams of Marine VHF Channels so that folks can listen to fishing reports in real time as captians discuss them over VHF radio.
