Deceleration from Plane
Rapid deceleration can put the swim platform awash as the wake settles. Sometimes a little water will wash into the aft cockpit via the transom door at this point. We try and keep any water sensative items off the aft cockpit floor. Since the cockpit is self-bailing, this isn't a safety concern and the amounts of water are quite small. Easing off plan or a turn prevent this - as would putting a wet towel against the transom door.
