Destin Pass Photos
The Gulf Gateway for Destin, Fort Walton Beach, and Niceville, Destin (East) Pass is always active. Landmarks include "Crab Island" a shallow-water raft-up area north of the bridge, Destin Harbor on the east side south of the bridge and home to a large charter fishing fleet and dolphin tour boats, and the "Jetties" on the south. Wave conditions can be dangerous near the jetties, especially with contrary wind, tides, and large boat wakes.
