Sharks are the most plentiful big, fighting fish that can be caught near or even in-shore along Florida’s northwest coast. The bigger the shark, the bigger the fight so we catch and release to keep the population growing.

While on a tarpon fishing trip over to Port St Joe, Flordia, we got the chance to catch a medium bull shark in 3′ of water while flats fishing in a 14′ Jon boat. Lest you doubt, here’s the video. This was 11yr old Austin’s 1st bull shark. Click play in the window below to watch.
